the NPLB-stats redirects to a stats.free-dc.org-page!

The noprimeleftbehind pages have gone offline for potentially an extended period. We are working to get the problem resolved. I'm sorry about any inconvienience this may have caused.

With the outage of the noprimeleftbehind pages, none of our file links work right now. Sometime on Friday, I'll upload some to the no-IP site. In the mean time, if you'd like to reserve some files, Max or I will be glad to send you whatever range you need.

I have now updated all web page and file links that are reasonably active at NPLB to point to the fully working no-IP web pages.

I also corrected several links that were referencing the old www.rieselprime.org website, which is now www.rieselprime.de.

Our stats database in the LLRnet servers for NPLB and PRPnet servers for NPLB threads are still down. There is a note about that in those threads. We will keep everyone posted.

If everyone could check whatever links you see around the main active threads to make sure they are working, that would be helpful.

Thanks,
Gary

The NPLB noprimeleftbehind pages are now back online. This includes the NPLB stats database.

We are still in a bit of a state of flux at the moment. This has 2 main effects right now:
1. The stats database is at a slightly different URL.
2. The CRUS web pages still need to be uploaded to my machine.

For #1, see the link to the stats hourly update in the 1st post of our "LLRnet servers for NPLB". For ease of reference, here is the URL for the home page:
http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net:81/stats/index.php

The only difference in the URL is the ":81" right after the domain. This will go away once everything is finallized.

For #2 on the CRUS pages, I will have all of those uploaded within the next 2 hours of this posting.

Enjoy! :-)

Gary

The servers are on my "old" machine called "humpford", not on what will be the NEW server machine named "jeepford". The only thing that is on jeepford at the moment is the stats database. Except for that, all of the CRUS and NPLB web pages and file links are on humpford. What we have accomplished here is to move the stats, web pages, and file links from Ironbits machine to mine.

AMDave, if you're reading this, I realize that you've transferred a lot more than just the stats database to jeepford but I had been keeping CRUS pages and files up to date on my laptop even though they were not online. Since jeepford points to noprimeleftbehind:81 instead of noprimeleftbehind, it was far easier for me to upload the updated pages and file links to humpford. That way, I was able to maintain the URL of many web pages and file links in the threads for the 2 projects without having to systematically change them all to no-IP or noprimeleftbehind:81; especially the CRUS web pages, which would have been a mess to change the URL for.

Once we are ready to move the servers to jeepford, we'll also move the web pages and file links and change the IP address of where the noprimeleftbehind domain points to. I expect all of it to happen before the end of March.

Don't anyone ask me any detailed technical questions about all of this. The above is about the extent of my knowledge of the move. Max or AMDave can answer in more technical detail if needed.

We are in the process of transferring all servers over to jeepford. There will likely be a period of server outage and a few dead links here and there. We'll let everyone know when this process has been completed.

Hot off the press...

The router config change test failed during step #1.

I sent Gary an email with the details explaining at what point this occurred and how to reverse it.

I have included in my summation why I believe this result occurred and how it will be resolved to allow the release to resume after Gary has restored the original settings.

Apologies to all for this hopefully-brief interruption.
