Karsten,
For scoring purposes on n=264K-265K, go ahead and credit Jason with the lower of the 2 primes that he found and credit Carlos with the higher one. For scoring on ranges searched, credit Jason with the lowest range of n=264K-264.2K. Credit Carlos with the other 4 ranges when he completes them. If anyone has a better idea, let me know. Thanks, Gary |

i updated the TeamDrive #2 page with all ranges done/reserved.
now only Carlos' 4 ranges left and this drive is complete! note 1: i have to put some pimes in the next days not mentioned yet (most from Beyond's ranges)) note2: the range from jasong: i will count the primes as Gary said: 895·2^264011-1 for jasong, 867·2^264398-1 for Carlos. (would be easier as in Server results: 1st->Anon, 2nd->Carlos) the k/n-pairs will be counted as done by IronBits Server Port 7000! karsten |

Hi all,
Now that the 2nd Drive is officially over, I've closed and unstuck this thread. (Gary and Karsten--please note that mods can still post in closed threads, so if any of you needed to post something here, you still could.) Hope nobody minds. ![]() Anon

I usually give threads 2-3 days of inactivity before locking them. I did the same in the 'other projects' forum before requesting that Citrix lock them or that Xyzzy move them to the CRUS project.
What happens is that sometimes some straggling issue comes up that needs to be resolved...perhaps somebody notices a missing prime or finds a results file that they forgot to post, etc. No big deal. If someone needs to post something for drive 2, they can start a new thread and we'll move it over later. |
