I think he's releasing the range (we haven't yet gotten a clear answer from him, unless he sent something to Gary that Gary didn't get to read yet), from what I can tell. Carlos, I'm assuming you want the range, so I'll post a link to it here shortly.

Edit: Sorry, it turns out that Gary only sent me the n>300K part of the NPLB sieve file, so I can't give you the file just yet. When Gary gets back, he can pull the range from the big sieve file and send it to you.

I'm sorry for saying this but Jasong has some kind of mental disorder and should be invited to leave and to unreserve all his manual work. He is always messing things up. If he wants to help he can run LLRnet. He passes his days flooding mersenneforum with stupid ideas and jumping from project to project.

I'm taking his ranges to test, not worried to double-check them.

Carlos

Yes, I think he had expressed that he was going to be unreserving his range--that's why I was going to get the file for you and transfer the reservation to you, but there was one problem: I don't have a copy of the 260K-300K portion of the 400<k<1001 sieve file. Thus, you'll have to wait until Gary gets back in order to get the file for your range.

Unless, of course, Karsten's copy of the 400<k<1001 sieve file includes 260K-300K--Karsten, if you've got that range, can you please pull out the 264.0K-265.0K range for Carlos? Thanks!

Carlos, thanks for offering to double-check Jasong's range. I'm on
vacation until late Wed. night. I don't have the big sieved file with me but I'll post it for you.

Karsten, if you still happen to have the part of the big sieved file for n=264K-265K, can you send it to Carlos during the day Wed. If not, I'll send it to him late Wed. night (early Thurs. GMT).

Edit: FYI, he already found 2 primes in the range.

I have some partial results from jasong but it is best to double-check the whole range. Thanks for offering Carlos.

I have suggested that Jasong do work thru LLRnet here or thru manual reservations at RPS. RPS doesn't care if ranges are left undone for months or years. lol

I just need the files within 2-3 days...be cool.
For the last 12 hours my cores have been running LLRnet port 6000 and now they are back to their normal job.
