LLRNet results: RieselBase 16 87.5K-90K + double-check
I still need to check if all kn were tested and I think there's a bug on timings but RES64 match the client/server logs, meanwhile I am sharing the files with you all. Last fiddled with by em99010pepe on 2008-01-23 at 08:06 |

Well, a prime was just found in the Sierp. team drive:
16390*16^102651+1 is prime! Carlos, if you can shutdown the server, run srfile on the knpairs.txt to remove the k, then start up the server again, that would be great! Thanks!

I wrote a Perl script that parses the data from the LLRnet results file that would normally be in an lresults file, and puts it into a Comma Separated Values file so I can sort it by n via Excel. All seemed to be working fine, except that whenever I tried to sort by the "C" column (which contained the n-values), Gnumeric (the free Linux clone of Excel I'm using) would sort column C correctly, but not the rest of the data, so thus the resulting data would have a lot of mismatched k/n pairs!
I'm probably missing something obvious (I'm not by any standards an Excel guru!); am I supposed to be doing something to get it to sort correctly? There shouldn't be that much difference between Gnumeric and Excel in that matter, as Gnumeric is meant to imitate Excel. I'm attaching the CSV file that I generated using the Perl script. If anyone can figure out how to sort this by n (column C) while still keeping the correct n's matched up with the correct k's, residuals, time, etc, that would be great! (if you can manage to do it, please attach the sorted file here! )After the CSV file has been sorted, I'll use a counterpart Perl script to construct the normal-looking lresults file from it. Note: In order to get the forum to accept the attachment I needed to add a ".pdf" to the end of the file. Please remove the .pdf from the file after downloading!

Never mind, I figured it out. Apparently I'm supposed to highlight all the columns, then say "sort by Column C".
(Actually, I chose "Sort by column C then by column A, so I can sort by n, and then by k, like an lresults file would usually be arranged.)Thanks anyway!
