Yes, k=289 was completed to n=800K several weeks ago but no I had forgotten about rerunning Patrick's range for the results file.
Thanks for the reminder. Sometimes I forget to add long-term stuff like this to my to do list. There are a couple of other holes in results that need to be filled from various drives so it'll be more than just Patrick's results. David, if you don't mind, I may have you reactivate port 3000 for this since it was used to fill in holes in Benson's results. Port 3000's official job is to fill in results holes for top-5000 ranges. Port 2000's official job is to fill in results for non-top-5000 ranges. ![]() Karsten, once again, this would be nothing that you would need to create a drive page for. Gary |

I don't mind, and I was wondering, if you don't want to hassle with the ISP and fixed IPs, you could certainly move your server work over here on some other port number, as an alternate solution.
You could use yours for testing server setups, like for the new thing Max is working on... Just thinking out loud. We could put 'your' work on 7500, 8500, #500 ... server ports, if it matters... Last fiddled with by IronBits on 2009-02-24 at 11:00 |

The main reason that we set up a couple of drives on mine is that we wanted the flexibility of adding files at any time and just throwing personal stuff in them from time to time. I know I can be real annoying with sending files at the last minute (the whole sky is falling thing that still seems to happen more frequently than I would like). We/you don't have to worry about that for the servers on my machines. That said, if the problems become much greater, I may take you up on that offer after discussing it with Max. Thanks for offering. |
