Is removing the k in this manner using Srfile similar to what they do on base 5 with their .dat files when a prime is found?

I'm all for not reinventing the wheel, although I am in favor of 'tweaking' the wheel for our own interests.

Yes, very similar. You know -- just a regular "srfile -G -d 16390*16^n+1 knpairs.txt". Isn't that how k's are always removed from a sieve file?

LLRnet has completed n=104K-104961. lresults attached.

Some might be wondering why LLRnet completed such a small range--actually, that's because there's some lower candidates that we're still waiting for the results on, and we can only submit what we've got contiguous results for. The leading edge of LLRnet (i.e. where tests are currently being handed out) is much farther along.

It turns out there was a bug in my lresults-preparation program that didn't produce Sierpinski results correctly--so, my previous LLRnet lresults file for this Sierp. drive is actually bad. Attached is an updated file, containing lresults from 104K-105.3K.

Testing has been completed to n=130K on LLRnet. Verification of all k/n pairs is now in progress.

Edit: This is incorrect. See next post.

Wrong..I only shutdown the server, still plenty of work to be done to n=130k.

Carlos, please send all Sierp results files to me for the LLRnet server. It doesn't matter if there are gaps or not in them. I will use a program written by Karsten to format them and see what is missing.

The fact that I thought we had tested to 130K tells me that there is some communication issues that can't seem to be resolved after several attempts amoung the 3 of us.

We need to know where to start manual LLR testing. Can someone please post that info. here so that we can get the correct manual files posted and begin the drive again.

Thanks,
Gary

Even better: Carlos, how about you send Gary and I the results.txt, joblist.txt, and knpairs.txt files for the Sierp server? Then maybe Gary can pick up where your server left off on one of his machines.
