I finally got all my stuff moved to the new mersenneforum.org headquarters... Hopefully this new place is quieter than the last place I was... The Opteron is the black box on the right with the keyboard on top...

Hmm, I see two things with this picture that I feel a need to comment on

1. Is that a Compaq next to those two black boxen? I hate Comcraps. There was actually a site www.comcrap.com where Comcrap owners got together to complain about them. I have one, which will soon be stripped and its components reused.

2. Is that an HP LaserJet 1200 I see next to the Comcrap? I've worked with HP LaserJets before. Niiice piece of engineering. VERY fast too.

I snagged a deal on a 40GB 7200RPM Maxtor last night ($50) so we now have two hard drives online... I made the new one the web root so now we have lots of room to store data files...
Code:
opteron:~ # df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda2 37G 11G 26G 31% /
/dev/hdb1 37G 268M 35G 1% /srv
This purchase leaves us with $84.01 left in the Opteron fund...

It would really be great if the next version of the client distinguished ordinary Athlons from Athlon 64s.
