Aha! The 2^N+1 FFT code is not SSE2 optimized. In fact, on a P4 it is faster to ecm M64680 (M32340 * P32340), than it is to ecm P32340.
The only reason 2^N+1 FFT code was never SSE2 optimized is my lack of time and energy and other priorities being more important. Sorry for the confusion! |
