Wow, this is sad news. I have talked to him about conjectures for quite a while now. He was like a leader to this forum with all his posts as well. Whenever I wanted to look in the puzzle section, he was always posting problems/answers.

I hope he gets his award posthumously, but we'll not know until it happens. Bye to another mathematical man.

When Mally threatened, after one of many disagreements, to stop posting here at mersenneforum, I said I'd miss his contributions. Sure enough, I do. :-(
