I have a computer for which the only way I could transfer work was over the LAN I use. Unfortunately, even that method is gone. I was about to retire the computer anyway, but want to continue to use it until it's replacement is ready.
I need to know how to convince PrimeNet that my connected computer did the factoring work even though there's no way to transfer the actual files. Actually, the credit for the work, as in points to increase in the standings, isn't important to me. I just want the fact that the work was done to be recorded in the database, along with any factors found. What should I do? (If I can manage to learn to fake the output, I think I'll give it to team StarQwest. :) ) Last fiddled with by jasong on 2007-07-24 at 06:54 |
