Unfortunately Googlepages has taken the tact of migrating all web pages to Google Sites, which does not support many html commands, including ones that are in my pages. Therefore I'm migrating my pages from http://gbarnes017.googlepages.com/ to http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net/
Post 18 in this thread here has 2 links to lists of twins that are affected by this. Therefore, one of the admins might consider changing the links to: http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net/crus/twins100K.htm http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net/crus/twins1M.htm Google allows redirects and I will put one in at their site but with all of the different pages that I have, I'm not sure if all will be properly redirected. So it would be better if the correct link is put in applicable post here. Thank you, Gary ------------- MooooMoo: Done, links changed. Last fiddled with by MooMoo2 on 2009-07-11 at 20:45 |

We are cleaning up and putting stuff in appropriate directories at the noprimeleftbehind web pages. When doing the migration of everything, I just plopped everything right into a main CRUS directory to get it done before googlepages did their migration.
Max has now come through and created appropriate directories for everything. Pages of my own that are unrelated to CRUS have now gone into a /gary (vs. /crus) directory. Therefore, please, once again, change the links in post 18 to the following: http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net/gary/twins100K.htm http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net/gary/twins1M.htm I think that should be the last change with this migration away from googlepages. Thank you, Gary ------------------- Oddball: Apparently MooooMoo didn't get around to changing the links, so I've done it nearly a year later. I know it's late, but I suppose it's better than nothing. Last fiddled with by Oddball on 2010-05-22 at 21:27 |

i just realize i forgot to reserve this
![]() i am taking the ns from 10044-10100 to find the first k that is a twin for each n i am mostly done and have 7 ns remaining @ k=75M Code:
k*2^10068-1 k*2^10069-1 k*2^10076-1 k*2^10092-1 k*2^10094-1 k*2^10095-1 k*2^10097-1 there are multiple twins for some ns in the files which i can remove if u want kar_bon but i expect u have better scripts than me and u might want the extra twins continuing up to k=1G |

if this project is still going on:
39027735*2^15384+-1 is prime (4638 digits) 163651821*2^48023+-1 is prime (14464 digits) :) I think I'll do some more scattered work on the side - haven't for a while so yeah. Working on: Code:
23087 (at 150M) 27283 (at 50M) 47015 (at 50M) starting: 50363 83047 |

I've just scanned karsten's first odd k twin page at www.rieselprime.de to get this:
Code:
Range Smallest first twin k n value 200-400 9 211 400-600 297 546 600-800 213 726 800-1000 1365 829 1000-1200 177 1032 1200-1400 1065 1321 1400-1600 291 1553 1600-1800 20733 1660 1800-2000 3885 1971 2000-2200 4359 2191 2200-2400 6201 2213 2400-2600 33939 2529 2600-2800 32811 2707 2800-3000 6075 2821 3000-3200 5559 3017 3200-3400 1149 3283 3400-3600 2403 3460 3600-3800 5373 3722 3800-4000 4935 3826 4000-4200 111573 4164 4200-4400 32721 4335 4400-4600 146787 4590 4600-4800 66969 4619 4800-5000 2565 4901 5000-5200 58311 5147 5200-5400 43923 5316 5400-5600 82005 5459 5600-5800 58983 5738 5800-6000 5775 5907 6000-6200 79515 6177 6200-6400 275847 6382 6400-6600 45639 6593 6600-6800 4737 6634 6800-7000 33801 6885 7000-7200 77367 7170 7200-7400 307665 7247 7400-7600 122121 7403 7600-7800 33957 7768 7800-8000 143355 7950 8000-8200 31335 8160 8200-8400 3975 8335 8400-8600 459 8529 8600-8800 116199 8789 8800-9000 53985 8825 9000-9200 61593 9154 9200-9400 208113 9306 9400-9600 268689 9475 9600-9800 293475 9755 9800-10000 33891 9869 edit: I just tried it and got: Smallest first twin k = 0.00134*(n_value)^2 So, the smallest first twin k in the 483000-483200 range would be 0.00134*483100^2 = 313M. To get a value below 10M, we'll need to test 31.3 ranges that are 200n wide, so the first twin in our variable n-range is expected to have a value of n=486260.
