So while the bridge is still being worked on, could we have the date of the last v4 result upload on the page?

Small suggestion conserning trialfactioning:
If you have UsePrimenet=1 and manually add trialfactoring to worktodo.txt like: Factor=51000949,1,64, the client contacts the server and registers the assignment. Why not let the server check current status on the exponent at the same time and alter the assignment accordingly? If the exponent is allready trialfactored to 62bit it could alter the assignment to Factor=51000949,62,64, or if its allready trialfactored to 64+bit or has a known factor it skips the assignment completely. Similarly if you enter Factor=51000949,62,64 and the exponent is only factored to 59bit earlier or not trialfactored at all, the server changes assignment to Factor=51000949,59,64 or Factor=51000949,1,64 respectively. |

I have a problem with the v5 server. It won't show that I have more than 3 machines.
I had machines A,B,&C working and showing up in my report. I had trouble with machine D, but thought that I had it working. Today, I changed it's name, checked the v5 server, it showed up in my report, but machine B (which had the same name), didn't show up. Later today, I added machine E (from v4). I went to machine B to confirm that it was working. It was, so I did a manual com (and updated completion dates). I checked the v5 server, machines A, C, & E show up. |

I checked again today and one of the machines changed, even though I never changed it to the current name. Primenet5 shows 3 CPU's. I changed the machine back to a different ID and the ID that another machine was using disappeared. Do I have to shut down all of the machines (remove Prime95), reload P95, then name them all?

Did you copy any of the prime.txt or local.txt files from one machine to another? If so, two machines having the same ComputerGUID value could be tricky. |

Yes, I set one up and got the proxy settings etc. working, then carted a usb drive over and copied. So it sounds like a fresh install will be needed.

You can copy it, but you need to delete the line ComputerGUID= from local.txt, and change ComputerID= and SrvrComputerName= to the name you give the new computer.
If you also want to run on another username you need to change SrvrUID= in local.txt and V5UserID= in prime.txt. |

Ok, so just delete SrvrComputerName= and SrvrUID= and let it update itself, just change V5UserID= and ComputerID= manually right?

That will work. So will just changing V5UserID= and ComputerID= manually. Prime95 will compare the new values to the Srvr values and see they are not the same - this tells prime95 to update the server with the new values.
