As the title says.

[P. S.:My Computer is only a old Pentium 133@187MHz]

[Edit:I checked the previous posts and decided to work on this range.Once it is done, I'll move onto 61-62 bits.]

Yikes! Sorry I didn't notice your original email. I have edited the range allocation for your original assignment.

Sorry wpolly. Please pick something else!

Then could anyone give me a suggestion of a range?

As I previously posted, my computer is POOR compared to other's computers.

I looked at previous posts and found that ALMOST ALL ranges have been reserved......
Is there any free ranges above 70M yet?

Check this thread for free ranges: http://www.mersenneforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=854

As always, you'll want to double-check the actual posts, but I think this list is pretty accurate, anyway.

wpolly, how about 58.0-58.5M ?
To 60 bit it's a lot of work for your computer, I guess about half a year.

It seems there is something wrong here:

call_apple has reserved 75.1-76M (not 55.5-56M), so wpolly could continue with the range selected first or another one. Please let us know your final decision.

hbock,
wpolly has edited the original post. It initially said 75.5-76 or something like that but has now been changed to 55.5 -56. So this new assignments is okay. I'm editing the ranges out list to reflect that.

thanks garo,

it was confusing, now it makes sense and no further action is necessary.

(but, did you notice the new reservation 58.5-59M by ColdFury ? )

It would appear that wpolly isn't working on this range anymore. According to nofactor this range is still at the original 58 bit depth.

I've sent a private message to wpolly enquiring about the state of this range, which was read a couple of days ago. So I suggest that we give wpolly a further week to respond in the forum and also for a nofactor update (in case they send results directly to George without telling us here), then release the range.

So it's been a week and there has been no response from wpolly, there has also been a nofactor update and again no progress in this range.

Therefore, if no one objects, I'll finish this range off.

Garo - I noticed that this range now appears to be assigned to you in the currently out list. Are you actually working on this?
