We do hope people don't log out. Every time you log out a random user is deleted.

Well, I always liked that feature (both the wording and the deletion). It could even be made more exciting by having contests to create a lists of candidates for the deletion pool.

I like this feature because it tells me how abnormal I am. I use this forum as a yardstick against which I can measure my current mental health. I figure if I'm in a forum with a lot of other users then I'm pretty normal (compared to the rest of mersenneforum population). If there are just a couple of other users, then we're members of the intellectual elite. If I'm the only one there them I'm sad, because when I leave it a kitten will die.

Well, you had to pull the "a kitten will die" card, eh?

The feature has been restored.

We can now accommodate minor name change requests. Just send us a PM.

We are not responsible for anything weird that may happen.

If you're using IE7, maybe: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > (under "Browsing") Enable Page Transitions ?

Thanks for the info cheesehead, I hadn't seen it with a quick look-thru.

I would imagine most users would leave such an option on and just avoid pages that had excessive use, such as between every page load.

A major forum software upgrade was performed today.

Supposedly all sorts of useless new features are now at our disposal.

If you have Safari, the message input thingie is supposed to be improved.

We can't figure why anyone would want to use Safari, but then again, we can't figure out how anyone can hate peanut butter.

That's all we know at this point. Please let us know if you find cool things or bugs.

I have Safari (as I use a PowerMac), but I'm unaware of any issues in the previous version of the software.

I don't see it. Do I need to enable anything to use it?
