Default Name the trolls and win a prize.

They are nameless at this point. There is extra credit for original or clever names.

The prize will be something trivial and worthless, but it will be somewhat cool.

For those of you not in the loop, the trolls and the gerbils "run" the forum. They tend to undo some of the work done by the gerbils (and vice versa) but overall they do an admirable job. We figure there is some sort of communication breakdown between them. Right now the trolls are solely responsible for the search engine and the server hardware.

Or, we can just continue to call them "The Trolls", but that sounds so impersonal.

uh oh! Things are getting squirrely. Undesirable post count, omnipotent user ID, and almost the correct spelling of Xyyzy. ...and when you click on its profile,
Nothing happens.

Well, if you go to the Mazomatic Troll Name Generator, you'll find that they are apparently quite aware of the personalities on this little forum. Using "Xyzzy" and "Yzzyz" for the first and last names gives "Jock Itch Troll".

A list of uncannily accurate troll names:
  • Xyzzy or Yzzyx "Self-gratification Troll"
  • Gerbil "Prima Donna Troll"
  • David Hasselhoff "Sticky Buns Troll"
  • Master Alex "Stinky-fingered Troll"
  • Shane Findley "Body Odor Troll"

And one very disturbing one: "der Wunderdoktor" gives "Cannibalistic Troll"

You might want to doublecheck that result and your spelling there.

Not really. One is white (Schimmel) and one is dark gray (Burmese) so we refer to them by color. They really don't seem to care what we call them as long as there is a steady supply of sunflower seeds.

We used to tell Mother that she could call us anything she wanted to, as long as she didn't call us late for supper.

I put in Phil Moore and it came back with Bad Hair Day Troll, so I know that the generator is accurate! Is it some sort of electronic Ouija board?

"Alex Kruppa" gives "Accordion Playing Troll", whereas "Alexander Kruppa" gives "Yeast Infection Troll."

I shall only be known as Alex Kruppa from here on.
