From what we know, it is simply an account merge. I hear Team Italia might be joining Team Prime Rib soon to give curtisc a run for his money.

I saw a mention that the big points jump was due to transfers/mergers.

Just one supercomputer wouldn't suffice...

It has been a merge between us and another team from Italy.

As for a TeamPrimeRib/Team_Italia merge... I must confess that the big jump will not be followed by the same sustained activity: the other team is leaving, and donated his credits to us.

I'm not trying to pry a name out of you ... I'm just analyzing the stats.

Based on my rough calculations of how much your stats jumped (32 places in 90 days) you would have to have acquired 1 team near the top of the standings (18th or so) or several smaller teams. I'm surprised no one noticed the recent absense of such a "big" name.

Actually, it's just harmonic arithmetic:

1/47 + 1/16 = 1/12, approximately

(1/48 + 1/16 = 1/12, exactly)
