Valentines day

Its just 5 days away and most men have no idea what to do about it. The proverbial box of chocolate is pretty much a worn out cliche for most women. Taking her out to dinner may be a good idea but it probably won't impress her very much. Whatever you do should be just for her and should make her feel special. I will post one very nice thing to do for the special person in your life. Please feel free to add your suggestions.

Give her a visit to the beauty shop she prefers. Try to include hair, facial, manicure, and pedicure. You get a few points if you just hand her a card with her name on it, a simple lace tie, and enough cash inside to pay for the beauty shop along with a note telling what it is for. You get major points if you know the name of her beauty shop, call, and make her an appointment. Be sure to tell her it is because you want her to feel special and then keep your mouth shut!

My wife has been hinting that she wants some sort of exercise machine for her gift.

I suppose I'll buy her a mop.

The best way to get out of Valentine's Day/Sweetest Day is to get your SO flowers or a card for no reason at random times during the year. I still do a special Valentine's Day card, but I am able to avoid wasting time looking for jewelry, although that is probably because she is frugal and not flashy.
