The existing "Unhappy Me" thread does not suit your purpose?

Sadly, it needed a "reboot".

Did they stole something? Does police had any clues? Maybe they were just thieves? (not that would excuse them... but I still don't want to believe that one guy will kill another just because he has different beliefs or ancestors)

"Holy" books - including the Jewish one - are chock-full of that sort of thing.

So is recent history.

How can it be stopped? Ban religion? The communists tried that, but it brought in all sorts of other bad things.

There's some discussion on the subject in this thread:

Angry Fired.

I just received an email saying that May 31st will be my last day of work.

My boss sold the firm to a Dubai company, and they have no interest in maintaining people in Italy.

I'm angry.
I'm sad.
And I'm 52, so no one will hire me again because I'm too old and to skilled.

Said after having sent my 1000th Curriculum Vitae with no answer whatsoever.

(somewhat rhetorical) question: should I accept temporary jobs to earn 1/3 of my ex-actual salary and do pointless jobs directed by clueless people, feeling horrible, or keep on searching for something more fit to what I know, as long as my finances get drowned and restart from point 1?

Or search for an employer in Massachussets, or Florida, or California, or even Australia, and move abroad, leaving my old mother here in Italy?

Boys, I'm really torn in pieces...

Business is heartless. I really feel for your dilemma. Is it possible you could get remote employment: intercontinental tele-commute?

I never heard of similar employers... I'd love to learn more about it.

Luigi, as you said you won't find a job due to your age so my advice is to search for a job in a non Latin country, like UK. Try http://www.totaljobs.com/.

I don't know anything in particular. It was just a thought. I guess most such things are Call Desk kind of jobs, and would not pay anything reasonable.

EDIT: Sorry for raising (likely) false hopes.
