For about 5 minutes I was ok. Then WHAM another time release. This went on for several hours.
Reminds me of the time I was prescribed erythromycin for a green-phlegm respiratory infection. They forgot to instruct me not to take it on an empty stomach. Worst gut-ache I ever had. Luckily, I was going in for a followup X-ray in a couple of days (the machine was down my first visit, so the doc couldn't tell whether I had bronchitis or pneumonia -- but the scrip was the same either way), so I withstood the pain till then. The stuff was working to clear up my respiratory infection.

At the followup, I mentioned my "discomfort" to the doctor, who immediately guessed the reason, and told me about not taking the stuff on an empty stomach.

That relieved the immediate problem, but I couldn't drink Coke for at least six months without it instanty causing a fiery pain in my stomach.

My first DC is a mismatch

I wanted to do an equipment check before getting to a 100M digit mersenne by doing a DC, but since the first one is a mismatch, I am going to do another DC.

If you don't mind, please provide us with the exponent and we will triple check it.

Not at all. It's 52186853. I'd actually appreciate knowing if the problem was on my side or the other person's side, and even if it was on my side, whether another DC will produce the same problem. Might do three DCs to hope for 2 out of 3 matching DCs.

I have started a triple check of 52186853.

For future reference the usual place to make such requests for DC, TC, or higher count is I think https://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=24148

If your result turns out to be incorrect, especially if that outcome is repeated, you need to start looking for system problems. Without implying anything specific about your setup in particular, this can include CPU and DRAM settings (overclocks, timings, etc,) driver problems, or outright hardware malfunctions.

Running different settings in the Options>Torture Test menu can sometimes reveal where problems lie. (Don't run the Small FFT torture tests without some kind of CPU temperature monitoring. Those can overwhelm many cooling systems.

The standard recommendation is to run the Blend torture test for many hours, or until errors appear.

I take it that P95/mprime did not declare any errors during the run. That could be somewhat encouraging, but we'll know tomorrow for sure.

Thanks for the tips! Keeping my fingers crossed! No errors were reported by Prime95 during the time.

I see Chuck already started a triple check. Fingers crossed for you.

There is a possibility the first LL test by Freightyard is bad, there are some verified bad results by this user, not substantial but still:

[This link shows all LL results returned by Frieghtyard]
