What does keeping a laptop in the refrigerator accomplish? I keep hearing about this but it doesn't make any sense to me. :?

According to DC lore, it prevents your laptop CPU from throttling down to a lower speed because of overheating. (Fans in laptops are usually pretty wimpy)

... you stay up (2 AM Eastern time; when I lived on the East coast) to grab expiring exponents.

... you automate the process of grabbing expiring exponents so you don't have to stay up late.

I feel SO behind - "only" have about 14 Gighz total, and over 1 Ghz of that is in K5 machines (at ACTUAL CLOCK, not PR ratings).....
