(Stupid computer deleted my post, I'm not even sure what I did)
I'd like to detail a strange bug in Google's headline software, which is still in beta. I don't know how many of you have kept up with Google's technology, but they've invented multiple "dongles," many of which are still buggy. The bug I'm about to detail is not odd in what it hampers(the reading of articles), but the method I've discovered to get around the bug. First, when you find an article title you're interested in(I wouldn't recommend this thing to people who want to keep some of their surfing secret, it's behavior may be thought of as spyware by some people), you click on it, and a small window opens up that prints the title and some introductory text. In a perfect world, you'd click on the title in the new window and the article would become available. Unfortunately, this isn't a perfect world. What happens when you click on the title is that the program freezes. Kind of annoying. But here's the thing: In order to get out of this problem you press Ctrl-Alt-Del, click on the "Processes" tab, click on "Image Name," scroll down to "GoogleDesktopDisplay...," right-click on it, click on "End Processes," and then...the weird part. When you click on "End Processes," it unfreezes, so I click on "No," to NOT end the process, and read the article. It's kind of annoying, but it's smart AI, and the fact that it's never actually crashed, make me tolerate it. But that solution is just plain weird to me. Thoughts?
