Sulphur, more sulphur!!!!!! (Substitute it for the oxygen in the ethanol molecule and you have my answer...or maybe, bend over, here it comes again!)

Default Steorn Perpetuum Mobile, Pakistan Edition

Craving Energy and Glory, Pakistan Revels in Boast of Water-Run Car: Debunked by scientists as a shimmering mirage, the “water car” has received a broad and serious embrace.
Quote:
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — In a nation thirsting for energy, he loomed like a messiah: a small-town engineer who claimed he could run a car on water.

The assertion — based on the premise that he had discovered a way to easily split the oxygen and hydrogen atoms in water molecules with almost no energy — would, if proven, represent a stunning breakthrough for physics and a near-magical solution to Pakistan’s desperate power crisis.

“By the grace of Allah, I have managed to make a formula that converts less voltage into more energy,” the professed inventor, Agha Waqar Ahmad, said in a telephone interview. “This invention will solve our country’s energy crisis and provide jobs to hundreds of thousands of people.”

Established scientists have debunked his spectacular claims, first made one month ago, saying they violate ironclad laws of physics. But across Pakistan, where crippling electricity cuts have left millions drenched in the sweat of a powerless summer, and where there is hunger for tales of homegrown glory, the shimmering mirage of a “water car” received a broad and serious embrace.

Federal ministers lauded Mr. Ahmad and his vehicle, sometimes at cabinet meetings. The stand-in minister for religious affairs, Khursheed Shah, appeared on television with him and took a ride in his small Suzuki rental, which was hooked up to a contraption that Mr. Ahmad described as a “water kit.” Respected talk show hosts suggested he should get state financing and protection.

The country’s most famous scientist, Abdul Qadeer Khan — revered inside Pakistan as the father of the country’s nuclear weapons program and reviled elsewhere as a notorious figure in the international nuclear black market — gave it his imprimatur, too. “I have investigated the matter, and there is no fraud involved,” he told Hamid Mir, a popular television journalist, during a recent broadcast that sealed Mr. Ahmad’s celebrity.
The last paragraph contains a piece of potentially good news - If Dr. Khan indeed believes these wild claims, then perhaps the nuclear technology he peddled on the black market was not so dangerous as is generally believed.

OTOH, this bit has me concerned:
Quote:
In another measure of the issue, the United States government has donated heavily to electricity generation projects, hoping to win support from Pakistan’s largely hostile public; last week, Congress authorized $280 million for various hydroelectric projects.
I wonder if the water car "inventor" could claim he has hooked his miracle thingamajig up to a generator and thus be eligible for US funding of his "hydroelectric" research.

The latest Steorn "news": Final ORBO PowerCube Designs

http://freeenergytruth.blogspot.com....e-designs.html
Quote:
The ORBO PowerCube is a USB charging station with a difference. It's powered by no conceivable or identifiable power source. I guess you could say its powered by the universe. The idea is simple, you attach your electronic device by means of a USB cable, tap the PowerCube to start it and say goodbye to ever needing batteries or the power company ever again!
Potential power sources:
1. Cell phone tower emissions?
2. Radio station emissions?
3. Vibration from the tap you give it, like those child's shoe LEDs?
4. It has a cold-sink and a thermocouple?
5. An internal micro-black-hole?
6. All of the above?
7. ...?

A short article about the latest Steorn thingamabob.

https://www.newscientist.com/article...-fruitloopery/

For those who can't be bothered registering just to read one article (understandable actually) here is the guts of it
Quote:
Orbo offers endless spin
PERPETUAL motion devices continue to deliver amusement, if not the promised free energy. Feedback previously discussed the Enclosed Loop Electric Windmill System, a device that raised $3 of investment capital on crowd-funding site Kickstarter (18 July).

Imagine how delighted we are to discover that the charmers behind the Irish company Steorn are still cranking out promises of revolutionary free energy, almost a decade after challenging the scientific community to debunk their over-unity Orbo device. That challenge wasn’t met – the fabled machine was never presented to the gathered experts – and a public demonstration of the technology at the Kinetica Museum in London likewise suffered “technical difficulties” and the demonstration ended prematurely. Now Steorn is back, with the Orbo recast as a never-ending battery.

The device was given a “field test” in the august setting of Slattery’s Pub in Dublin, where interested patrons could recharge their phones by connecting them to the block. Unfortunately this field trial proved too trying, and once again the demonstration ended prematurely. Further trials are purportedly taking place at undisclosed locations.

All of which shows that free-energy fruitloopery does seem to draw upon some inexhaustible resource – if only it could be tapped for useful power.

The ADGEX everlasting torch/flashlight:
https://www.metabunk.org/claim-harve...d-adgex.t7285/
Naturally it fails after a few hours. But the most fun is the claimed reason for the failure: They used the wrong glue when fixing a different "problem". So if only we had the right glue we could all have free energy forever.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And yet another round of FE claims from Steorn for yet another different device:
https://www.metabunk.org/claim-steor...charger.t7080/
Apparently it has an electret and will last 800+ years. It can charge at a rate of two smartphones per day. But the testing tells a different story. And when opened reveals some standard 9V batteries (which are there to provide a reference voltage, not for energy, oh no, of course not for energy, why would you even think such bad thoughts) and the awesome magical electret thingy.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And I think this comment has the real reason for all the FE claims:
Quote:
On my mind, this is of course an investor scam in its cleanest form with absolutely no doubts. Anyone carefully looking at their past and present claims, and with just a tiny rest of common sense and basic physical knowledge, can see that their alleged free energy device is fraud. Myself I wondered what their exit plan is, and came to the following conclusion. Of course, I may be wrong, the inventive minds of con artist never stop to amaze me with new and new tricks, so perhaps they will come with something new, but for now I see the following two possibilities as the most probable:

1. Although they take orders, they may never start taking money and delivering the product.
2. After a few weeks of waiting (and trapping new naive investors in the background) they will deliver products that do not work, that they will fully refund.

I am persuaded that in both cases they will blame a faulty batch of cells or some other mishap, will ask for some patience before the new batch is ready, or they will tell that some more R&D is necessary to fix the problems. They will then refund all who paid (except the investors, of course), and the fixing will be going on for years, just like it was the case until now, and just like all other similar con artists use to do (Andrea Rossi with his eCat is an excellent example of this behavior too).

I reject the idea that they would run away with the money of the direct customers. That's uninteresting peanuts for them. Already in the years until know they allegedly managed to get investments of at least 20 millions of euros, so changing identities and going into hiding is not an interesting option for them. What interests them are investors who want to give them money for further development, or for dealership or licences. And with the current publicity, and all the celebration in the free energy community, the number of investors will raise exponentially. A sucker is born every second.

Default Free energy is everywhere, right. So where is mine?

Two more for some fun:

This one is quite low tech from the appearance. But the ever present battery is there again, just ignore the battery in the background:
http://infinitysav.com/freeenergydevice
Quote:
The device works on the resonant frequencies 2-7Kgts
That's right, it works on 2-7Kgts (whatever they are), not batteries, nope, Kgts. Remember that.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And here we have some really impressive looking devices with both digital and analogue displays, lots of pretty coloured wires and whatnot, awesome:
http://quantamagnetics.com/
These are only sold as kits (and the assembly manual only costs $199.00). So make sure you build it absolutely perfectly. You wouldn't want to make even the slightest of mistakes or the tiniest of adjustment errors for fear of it not actually working. Naturally if you do manage to construct it "just so" then it will work forever and ever and provide you with free energy until the end of time. Well, at least until something changes due to wear and you have to adjust it again ... and again. But don't worry there is always Mr. Hand there to get it turning again if it ever does stop.

Default Steorn Liquidates

So what happens when the sources of investor money have run out?

http://dispatchesfromthefuture.com/2...rn-liquidates/

For something that would be worth trillions if developed properly it is unbelievable that after a mere few millions people gave up. So if only we had the right team of developers, instead of the team of Steorn idiots, running it we could all be basking in free energy for ever and ever.

Default The magical magnets strike again.

https://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...300545369.html

It's the unique interactions apparently:
Quote:
The manuscript explains that the repulsion is not generated by the opposite poles that face one another, but instead, from unique interactions between the magnetic fields.
All they need is lots of money. If it fails to produce results then it is your fault for not giving enough money. So the only one to blame for not having free energy is yourself.
