"Coming soon" your very own Orbo Evaluation and Development System. And its only €360 (a bargain at 1/1000th the price).
But guess what, it doesn't produce the famed free energy. It is for evaluating "the core principle of Orbo Technology, which is that a time-variant magnetic interaction leads to a non-conservative energy result" (whatever that means?).One curious addition is the "1 USB memory stick with test data". So they give you the data you are supposed to measure. I guess that means that if for some rare and inexplicable reason you don't manage to measure the 300%+ gain then you can just chalk it up to your own ineptitude and use their test data instead. And then, of course, you are supposed to claim victory and become megawealthy beyond your wildest dreams selling free energy products. Coming soon to an Internet near you. Soon. Its only been four years so far, what's your rush anyway. Just be patient. Soon. [edit] Oh, I forgot to mention it is battery powered. They still can't seem to rid themselves of that battery. Never mind, just ignore it. It is probably not really being used anyway, just for aesthetic value no doubt. Last fiddled with by retina on 2010-10-22 at 15:07 |

Clearly just a standard battery backup for those occasional times when the time-variant magnetic interaction becomes "temporarily fluctuationally impaired", or something. I'm sure it's all legit.

Why isn't Steorn simply closing the loop and raking in billions selling this stuff? Oh yeah, I forgot, they are a technology company only. They would much rather make peanuts and go through all the stress and time consuming actions of selling demo boards and help to make others rich instead. Such altruism is heartening.
This is getting to be more and more like the standard "beat the casino" schemes where the seller always claims they have made it rich and never have to work again. But for some strange reason that are willing to spend all theirs efforts to set up a store and sell the scheme for $10 to anyone. Even though the $10 should be nothing to them. Wouldn't they much rather be out in their Ferrari's partying with Paris Hilton? Plus, if all those buying the scheme were also raking it in then the casinos would go bankrupt and cut off their cash cow. So the $10 would actually be a net negative for them. |

Now -- just to purchase this next latest and greatest They have even posted a set of skills and equipment that you are required have:
![]() This is a never ending story. Currently the only thing that Steorn have that is constant and free is the nonsense they can come up with. Still not worth €360 though. Last fiddled with by retina on 2010-10-30 at 13:40 |

Our free energy plan, thus far, involves leaving bottles of tungsten pellets laying around the house.
So far nothing has happened, but we are patient. |

If anyone here happens to be at the Docklands Innovation Park (in Ireland) this Saturday then you might want to take the chance to see for yourself the
http://www.innovationdublin.ie/index...demonstration/ And as we might expect "This is an application only event". So all you have to do is pretend you are a diehard believer in the Steorn OU and you'll be in. |

I did most of my hardcore science fiction when I was very young and Asimov was very prolific then but I don't think I read "The Gods Themselves." It's really hard these days to be sure what I've read and I have had times that I read books midway before clear recollection of the book finally comes through. As a child, I far preferred Azimov's popularizations of science although his Foundation trilogy (initially) was enthralling.

The "middle" section, which occurs in the parallel universe, is very well written.
