It features wimpy Embedded processor with wimpy integrated video, lan, and audio. Got the motherboard /w embedded processor and 128MB of SDRAM off ebay for $64 USD. All I had to add was an old hard drive, a old flexATX case, and presto! I don’t feel like paying $160 for motherboard with a Via C3 NEHEMIAH processor, so this will have to suffice .I just wanted to bench it with P95. Now it is actually running Debian with a Wolfenstien Enemy Territory server(which actually worked! I figured the cpu would be too wimpy for more than 8 players. However, it’s getting about 94% cpu usage according to PuTTY ).The Via is in the white case. |

Specs:
2-Opteron 248 Tyan S2875ANRF K8W Tiger Motherboard 4Gb RAM - 4x1Gb Corsair Reg ECC DDR400 CM72SD1024R ATI Radeon 9800XT 256Mb This rig is a few days old. My main workstation in the office mainly for 3D and video apps. I just hit the default benchmark in the menu and let her rip, I dont know if there's some settings I need to adjust in Prime95 for dual cpu's. If there is let me know, thanks. |

I believe the results would have been even better had we chosen to go for the Tyan Thunder mobo. We settled for the Tiger due to budgetary constraints and that hampered these two bad boys to a shared memory bus. Anyway, thanks for the info.
