The project of testing k=17 in the n=205k-2M range started in May 2006, and now, after 2 years and 10 months we are about to complete testing all candidates. Only one new prime was found at n=605k (by segmtfault in September 2006).
We are continuing above n=2M using files sieved to 100T kindly provided by amphoria, who is still sievieng n>2.1M. If you want to find a large prime, join us now! Test files are available from post #1. (Larger test files are available on requst.) Happy hunting! |
