Sweet! I got the 300th prime. Yum.
Congrats to everyone, and let's keep expanding the group-- I am recruiting a few HS students from my classes, so I have ~15 machines working on 15k now. I wonder how many folk like Thomas, LSoule, and Kosmaj run, as they seem to get results VERY often. It's really just chip envy, but I'm still curious. -Curtis |

I have roughly 20 machines on it. Actually, 20 is the max as the processes
are niced and turn themselves off if people are active on the machine. Most are 2.8GHz linux machines of one sort or another.

On April 21 with 300 primes our score was 45.947, today with 320 primes it's down to 45.9226 :surprised

But in any case, sooner or later we'll reach and surpass 46.0

We have 320 on the current list and 373 ever on any list so
we've had 53 fall off the top-5000. The new primes from any of the 3 drives should be on the list quite a while as they're coming in around #1000 on the list. |

I have an explanation for this mysterious decreasing of our team's score. One of my primes was initially credited with large score by some kind of error. Normalized score for this prime was about 140. I noticed this error and notified Chris so he fix it. And that's why our team's score went down. Chris checked the rest of the database and didn't find other errors. It was just this one error.
Mystery solved.
