Does this mean you don't plan to finish 11-9,223, which you still have reserved?

Data is here and is waiting on spare compute capacity. Hardware probs aren't helping...

Bob knows all about it. This post is for public consumption.

NFS@Home did these; their factors can be found in the factorDB:

Thanks for the info. I'm certain that your mail either didn't reach me or was filed somewhere really inappropriate. I searched quite hard.

Time to scrape the factorDB and post another update.

Not sure if I'll be travelling next week but if not I can post process it. Is 16 GB enough?

Got them all, thanks.

Took a time to get them on the web because the ISP's ftp server was down.

After a few more hours filtering because msieve wanted more to make a matrix, the LA and sqrt took less than a day. The result is given in the next post.

Here is what may be the end of year update. Almost all the work this time was done by jyb, though Bob and I did three between us.

There are now 105 composites remaining so extensions to the tables are very likely to be published before too much longer. Current tables should hit the web very soon.

NFS@Home (Mike Vang post-processing) just completed 12+7,226. Factors in factorDB.

Of course, the numbers will become more difficult, but that could possibly be made up for by having more people involved (versus just the two who have contributed so far this year).

So consider this a challenge/request to all with available sievers: come try your hand at factoring some Homogeneous Cunningham numbers and we'll see how far we can get.
Well, the results are in. Counting the NFS@Home split mentioned above, we managed to get the number of composites down to 104. So we just missed the goal, but it was a good effort. With one further number factorized just after midnight (but which I forgot to report to Paul until 2015-01-02), the number of composites now stands at 103. With just a little more effort, we can get down to the point where Paul will extend the tables, and then there will be a much wider array of difficulties.
