Default llrnet server access reeestablished

Hi,

llrnet server is available again. It was not the server itself but the no-ip DNS updater that stopped to work.
This was the first time in 3.5 months that i had to restart it.

Same thing here.. got as far as server dialog thread started. then it hung from there.

Should be fixed in the next few hrs or as soon ltd comes online. Till then you can do manual work or use sieve client.

Or just watch a movie and Enjoy the

Its the noip update again.

I will have a look if there is a known issue on their side or if there is a new update available.

There could be some small outages today cause i will also try a reboot of the machine.

I made a restart of all the components. ( DSL modem, Router, server)
We have to watch if that has helped.

It looks like a problem on the noip side even with no official statement on their web page. Sometimes the client gives a unknown password message and sometimes the connect fails with server unreachable. After that there seems to be a chance that the client stops to send new updates.

I had none of the problems in the last three months.

I have switched the updater to a an alternative connector to the server an i will look for the success of the update more closely.

At the moment the timeout is 14 days.
