Unless, of course, somebody were to give him multiple stab wounds, cyanide poisoning, an axe buried between his shoulder blades, and also shot him, set him on fire, and crushed him between a forklift and a cement wall, and then tossed him off a high precipice into icy, shark-infested waters.

And the sharks have frikin' laser beams mounted on them.

And followed by a beheading, just in case.

There can be only one, after all.

Well you could behead the little one first, just for good measure.

I suppose if one wanted to move the decimal point, you could get 314.15926535897932384626433832795 and take the fractional part to get an exact second. 13,760 seconds past midnight. 3:49:21, rounded. Doesn't matter though. Starting at midnight is just fine.

You forgot one: a roundhouse kick to the face from Chuck Norris.

I thought all that was his definition of "a bad day."

Just stumbled across this, in the Cosmic Variance blog:

http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/co...3/14/phone-pi/

Quote:
. . .

Several years ago, before pi-day was famous, a student called the phone number associated with the digits in pi that appear after the decimal point, i.e., 1-415-926-5358. Apparently this is rather common now, and in fact, appears to be promoted as a mnemonic for the first 10 decimal places for those folks we need to have those numbers handy at all times. But this story happened in earlier times, back before the Bay Area split into several area codes. And, as the clever reader has already guessed, that student reached the SLAC main gate. How cool to phone pi and reach the main gate of a major national scientific research laboratory!

Alas, time and phone numbers march on, and nowadays phoning pi yields a “your call cannot be completed as dialed” message. ...
