One place I worked was in offline editing of television shows. The industrial equipment had different cueing speeds depending how far away the desired cue point was.

Anyway the dumb joke was that the highest speed distant cue was called a "far cue."

In a certain game called Cookie Clicker there is a certain upgrade called "egg" (and the quotes there are literal, the flavor text is "hey, it's "egg""). It grants +9 CPS (the meaning of "CPS" being irrelephant here).
