Just for the statistics:
511 factores were found and a total of 14760 candidates have been tested from 2^58 to 2^60. That makes a factorization rate of 3.46%. |

oops....did my math wrong, but 2/59 would be closer using the rough method since you have 1/58 for the 59th bit, and 1/59 of the remaining (57/58) that weren't in the 59th bit, which can be evaluated to (59/58)/59 + (57/58)/59 = 2/59 ~ 3.390%
However, these are only estimations and not all ranges behave nicely to estimations. |
