I don't run LLRnet because I can't. Sure, it would be easier if I could, but since I basically have to treat these boxes as no-net, LLR and reservations are necessary for me.

My computer(s) sometimes don't run for a week. I don't know the current expiration time, but by reserving the candidates here, I can get rid of this problem.

This old PC scramble I am using is so old that I do not bother trying connecting them to net They are running in my garage with no net connection available and I just look at them ones in a while to update Sieve/PRP result. So this manual updating suit me fine.

There are two reasons why i run the "old" reservation. First i am allowed to run DC software on my office PC but not if they connect to the internet.
Second even if i would be allowed to run a connect to the internet for DC purposes i would not be able to run the llrnet client as our firewall wants username/password authentication and only allows special ports.

@Mystwalker: the llrnet server deadline is set to 14 days.

@thommy: the llrnet server hands out between 60 and 110 k/n pairs a day run by 5 to 15 contributors at the moment

I run my own llrnet, so I reserve ranges manually to feed the program. (It just got hungry last night so I had to buy him a 10,000 range)
