Hi,

After updating my Linux to SuSE 8.2 (FTP update) I've just discovered a nice 'oprofile.rpm' package. So I will begin to check it. SuSE guys are doing an even better job every new release ;).

That's nice to hear. So I should get SuSe 8.2 myself ;)

Don't be excited about oprofile-SuSE 8.2. I still cannot see oprofile running in my box. I get an irritating segfault when loading oprofile module :-(.

OTOH, yes SuSE 8.2 is a very nice and complete distribution. Worth to upgrade.
