How about a thread with satellite images of where we live?

I'm here (exact center of map). It's part of the "Studentenstadt" where a lof of students live (but not exactly a campus as there is no University. They are towards the city center and in Garching, resp.)

The park to the east is the Englischer Garten. It's very nice to be only a 2 minutes walk away from sunbathing, but not good for finishing the studies!

Here's me. Quite a different kind of neighboorhood from yours, Alex. That is a softball complex on the right side of the picture.

and here is my land east of town. Its 130 acres with about 3000 feet of frontage on the Buttahatchee river. The river is the green ribbon that slants from the top of the picture down and to the right. I have the cleared areas planted with pecan and walnut trees. I look forward to building a house and living here.
