I always thought that these round off errors were normally caused by memory. If all of your machines are doing it ???
Check for dust bunnies, increase your latency and remove any overclock. I wouldn't stop using these computers, simply put them into doublecheck, if lars doesn't want them send them over to SoB. The errored residual isn't reproducable correct, if it is then there is some larger issue. Even if you have to do your own tripple checks the computer should be fine chances of producing the same incorrect residue is less than finding a prime at this point. Please do not put them into sieve since we don't want to start double checking ranges. You might want to do P-1 since there is very little effort there if any there. |
