v24.14 lagging the PC?

I upgraded the software to v24.14 several days ago, and after that, my PC lags more than usual. I have it running at priority 9, which I have always ran without any problems. I don't think the lag is caused by spyware, because I scanned my computer with three different anti-spyware programs.

Oh, my PC uses Windows XP, if this is any help.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

why not run poroity 1 and not worry about it
