They're offering a $1 million prize to anyone who can prove Goldbach's conjecture. However, the prize is unlikely to be awarded, since it expires in just two years.

But it is a good book, I read it when it first came out. No one on this forum will learn any math from it, except maybe a little topology, but it is a fine story well told.
