1. Have you seen Ernst Meyer's excellect introductory explanation in the earlier "fft explanation for non math guys" thread in this forum?
2. The Mersenne Prime Mailing list FAQ at http://www.tasam.com/~lrwiman/FAQ-mers points to FFT resources including: http://www.fftw.org/links.html, the links page at the FFTW ("Fastest Fourier Transform in the West") site, appears to be regularly updated. (Scroll down to the more-than-a-dozen links in the Explanatory Material section.) and "Fourier Transform for Signal Processing", http://www.spd.eee.strath.ac.uk/~interact/FFT/, which includes an FFT Tutorial "designed to take you step by step through the process of the Discrete and Fast Fourier Transforms (DFT and FFT)." |
