I have read on the Fourm that the 24.11 version of mprime was faster on P-IV and Athlons, but slower on P-III. This appears to be true for single processor P-III, but for dual P-III (using the cpu affinity option of 24.11) there is a speed gain. Without the the cpu affinity option of 24.11 turned on, there is a speed lost.
The results of the Benchmarks along with the times per 10,000 interations are in my "result.txt" file if anyone desires them. Carlos Last fiddled with by Carlos on 2005-07-28 at 01:09 |
