Unreserve exponent

I've unreserved two exponents on one of my PCs using built-in prime95 feature, however both exponents are still on my Individual Account Report...
Both exponents were "factoring only": 30291983, 30446219.
What to do now? Wait 60 days for "Assignment overdue check-in"?

I am also having a problem unreserving...it says that my temp file can't be found. I guess I'll just have to wait for them to expire unless someone can fill me in on what I'm doing wrong.

If you don't reduce the days of Work queued up before you unreserve a exponent a new exponent will be reserved. If there is no lower number free you will get your own exponent again.

ahmerali, that error sounds like you were trying PrimeNet's manual forms pages at http://www.mersenne.org/ips/manualtests.html. Sadly, that facility has seldom worked for a while now. Have you tried using prime95's menus to unreserve exponents and manually communicate with the server?

Hi Mark,

Yes, I just realized I can do that...actually what I also realized is that I can reassign these "lost" exponents to other computers which are almost finished their current tests by putting the data into the worktodo.ini file. It would suck to unreserve an exponent and have it turn out to be the next magic number...
