I will transfer the ranges to the new sieve reservation.
I think in the 80000 to 89000 there will be some ranges already finished with our new dat file. For example i finish my reservations with the new dat. But these will be only ranges around 1T in total i think. When we are at the point to sieve those ranges i will for sure help you with the combined effort!!! Helping is not a one way street and you guys already startet to help us. Lars Last fiddled with by ltd on 2005-07-13 at 16:13 |

But to do this we must have a sieve file with the same range and also catch up with their effort of sieving with their new file (991-50M). It was a now or never decision to change to the new sieve effort. We are a little bit ahead with our sieving effort against our PRP effort so there is some "spare" time that can be used for catch up with SOB. And second they are not to far away so it is still possible to catch up. Hope that makes it a little bit clearer. Lars |

The file to be used is www.ldausch.de/test/sob50m.zip.
The link could be found at the top of the reservation thread. Sorry that i did not think about the sieving guide link. I will correct that in the next days. Lars |

Lars,
When you are making changes to ldausch.de http://www.ldausch.de/download.html on this page sobsieve.exe needs to be replaced by proth_sieve? Perhaps a link to proth_sieve? citrix |

Again sorry for the confusion. I should have updated all links a long time ago.
But as i was the only siever in the last about two months and i know where to find the files i simply forgot the changes. Lars |

Sorry did not read the post properly.
It is in theory possible that there are no findings but it is not likely at all. To make sure that there is nothing wrong with the sob.dat i redownloaded it and the file is OK. What parameters did you use to start proth_sieve ? I amde a very short testrun with your range and found the following: 10100004185783 | 214519*2^2025242+1 10100006301787 | 265711*2^327168+1 So there are at least excluded results. Lars |

Ok re d/l sob.dat and now everthing is working ok. I must of had a corrupt dat file. Darn I knew 675 Kp/s was too good
its now at 75 Kp/s. Thanks. restarted whole thing again & came up with both of your test samples.

How often do you need me to submit my found factors? Because 100G is going to take a while.
