I read the thread on the Prime95 beta version 24.6 and how it is speeding work on Athlon XP processors. I currently have an Opteron 144 running LL tests using version 23.8.1. This made me wonder if I am running the most optimized configuration for Prime95 on my system.
I realize there is no optimized 64-bit program yet. What version do you recommend I run for a single Opteron (23.8.1, 24.6 or another)? Thanks for your help! -MINOT- |

If I were you, I might try benchmarking my machine with both versions. When you do, check the same size FFT's speed. You mayy find that you may get better performance on 24.6, or maybe on 23.8. After you benchmark (from the advanced menu) post them to the benchmark thread in the hardware forum.
