I get the same error about 11-12 tests in running it in a boot disk..
My computer also has had sporadic problems, with every component replaced.. Nothing is on IRQ 7... Googling the issue just brings up years-old linux posts. My computer also blackscreens (not reboots, just goes to a black screen) after the 900th test or so Any ideas? NF7-S Rev2.0 Athlon Mobile 2200+ 2x512 PC4000 Kingston HyperX Radeon 9600pro SB Audigy |

Go to the hardware manager and check that no 2 cards are useing irq7 also you can use the bios to manually assign irqs it could be somethings misconfiguered. take out sound card and if possible network card.

No network Card in,
Sound could be removed... I'd miss it though :) Regardless, nothing uses IRQ 7, hence why its a spurious interrupt :-P |

If you are not using the parallel port, try disabling it. It usually defaults to using IRQ 7.
Normally, the parallel port generating spurious interrupts is not a major problem and can be ignored. |
