Default Descramble these if you can

A strange creature got loose on the forum recently and played hob with quite a few of our favorite words. Unless we straighten them out again, all efforts to find M42 will be met with failure. Have fun!

I'm sure is what you meant, though it works as is or descrambles to "girt".

I love the unscrambling program I wrote years ago.

Well, I finally had to write the multiple word searcher. Its results are interesting, and usually numerous. Note that it only prints out one permutation of each line.

For the first word, it gives several two-word possibilities:

integer programming
metering programing
program regimenting
programing regiment
programmer tingeing
programming treeing
reprogramming tinge

I'm guessing the first is correct?

For the second, the answer's pretty obviously:
simplex method
But I like the other answer it spits out:
"sixth pommeled"

For the third, it gets a mess of 19 possibilities!
I'm guessing double word?

Okay, time to add some of my own:

mossydebacle,
dictatorialhummer, dna
forefronttruismsafar

There's only two r's in "Fourier".
Fourier, Jean Baptiste Joseph Fourier, Baron Jean Baptiste Joseph Fourier --
(French mathematician who developed Fourier analysis and studied the conduction
of heat (1768-1830))
.
