Hi all, I hope that you all had an awesome Thanksgiving!
Anyways, we got two 512-Mb memory chips for our two desktops at home. When we upgraded one, it worked like a charm. However, when we installed one on the other computer, the computer stopped working! When we took it out, the computer worked again. In any case, we're returning it to Fry's Electronics. Any thoughts on this? |

My first thought was maybe the mobo is too fast for the memory. But I know from reading your posts that you'd know to check that. Other than that, I don't see how a *good* chip could kill it so completely.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too. |
