Hi flava!! :D
Can you email me your newly compiled ecm-program I'd like to test it for a while. ( I'm using a p4 2000MHz computer/ OS=win98)

The program can be downloaded at http://membres.lycos.fr/gmk2000/mersenne/sfx.dat
After you download it, rename it as sfx.exe and launch it (it is a WinRar self extract archive).
The interface is not very friendly but to do ECM's, you enter a "from" and "to" (curves) and the exponent then push the "Ecm" button.
The code is at least two times slower on P4 than on AMD because :
1. it uses integer operations, which are way faster on AMD
2. the gmp lib was compiled for AMD K7

You don't :D
You can try increasing values (like 1-10, 11-20 ...) or just guess ...
