Don't post other people's full email addresses. You wouldn't want your@email.address on some site unless you put it there, because it gets picked up by spam bots who look for those.
If you want to post someone elses (or your own) email address, type in something like joshmo AT (SPAMSUCKS) domain DOT com, or joshmo "AT" ("SPAMREALLYSUCKS") domain "DOT" com |

I guess you are talking in reference to this post . I usually don't post anyone's address without the steps you mentioned above. But since George has already put his email address on the Mersenne website and it has been there for several years, I guess it is already in all the spam lists. In addition, he has himself posted his own email address in clear text before.

The request may have been in reference to the M971 factorization where the full text of the email, including the discoverers email address, was posted.
You are correct that my email address is in all the spam lists
