This one had a high weight: 1027 - so this find should remove a large number of tests from the dat file.

a new one ...
![]() i was doing the +1 since a while, i just switched 3 core to -1 one week ago and yeah a fabulous gift: a new prime: 167246*5^195250-1 is prime (around top 1250 in primelist) it's a medium weight k (535) so it will remove around 20000 k/n pair from the sr5data file let's go for a new one ! time to test : 5601.166 sec on a centrino-duo 1600Mhz Last fiddled with by tnerual on 2007-08-05 at 23:44 |

213056*5^195968-1 is prime!
birdman2584 must be on vacation - one of his machines found this prime on Monday and he hasn't posted it on the forum or responded to pm/email. 213056 is a fairly high weight sequence, so this find will shrink the dat file some and remove many candidates from the testing queue. |

Looking at the stas we can see that we have reached a new small milestone with this latest finding.
We are now below 3 Million untested values in the riesel queue. |

After a long drought on the Sierpinski side,
...rover found that 5114*5^268127+1 is prime! This was a nice find, as rover was slowly, but steadily, attacking the Sierpinski queue. |
