Default forum buglet?

I just got a strange message that read something like:

"You cannot post after having posted recently. PLease try again later."

This seems like an avoidable annoyance. Is there no better way to solve the problem of accidentally clicking on "submit"? Such as only invoke this error when trying to post twice to the same thread.

I think this was an anti-spam measure Xyzzy enacted. You need to wait 60 seconds between two posts - I think it's 60, maybe 30 or 90 or 120.

But it's a feature not a bug :(

It is adjustable... If 60 seconds is too long toss me a number...

It is supposed to be an anti-spam measure... I doubt a scientific forum would be the target of spammers, but you never know...

:)

I'd say "20" - 2CPU is set to 30, and I run into that about twice a week on average.
