I want to run Prime95 in a separate directory so I could try out different settings. But for some reason the -W option doesn't seem to work for me.
For example, I want to tell Prime95 to use the temporary directory C:\Prime95-2 so that it doesn't interfere with the normal settings. However, the command prime95 -W C:\Prime95-2 always gives the message "Access to C:\Prime95-2 was denied." Running cmd as administrator does not make a difference. Both my normal Prime95 directory and this new one have the same set of permissions. Anyone know how to resolve this error? Last fiddled with by ixfd64 on 2022-08-12 at 22:21 |
